CHAMPIONSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. A separate entry form must be used for each competitor. Fees must be paid with ENTRY FORM. Payment options: Bank transfer, online payment or card in person every Tuesday & Saturday Night (During Club Session)
2. The Championships will be played in accordance with ITTF, TTA and TTWA rules and regulations.
3. An umpire whose decision is final on point of fact shall control each game.
4. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse entries and to cancel or amalgamate any event due to lack of entries.
5. No claim will be recognised should any player be injured during participation in the Championships.
6. Players will be requested to umpire by the Tournament Committee. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action being taken against the participant.
7. Players must report to the Official's table 15 minutes prior to their events. Players absent when called to play will be disqualified.
8. All competitors MUST be 2023 registered members (except BACKYARD SINGLES EVENT) of TTWA or another state association.
9. 40+ White 3 star ITTF approved will be used. Players are NOT allowed to wear white colours tops.
10. All nominated doubles combinations for Open Events are required to wear colour matching clothing, thereby adhering to ITTF clothing regulations. Opponents in singles events are required to wear contrasting colours.
11. All under-age events are open to players who have not turned the particular age before 31/12/2022. All over age events are open to persons who have attained or will attain that particular age group as of 31/12/2023
12. All events (exclude event 1 & 2) will be the best of 5 games, Event #1 & 2 will be best of 7 games & Backyard Event will be the best of 3 games.
13. Event #7-12 must have a minimum of 4 players or event will be merged within same age group.
14. Event #2 must have a minimum of 8 players or event will be merged with Event #1. Knock out system will be played for event to final.
15. A Grade strictly to all players Rating below 1499.
16. B Grade strictly to all players Rating below 1299.
17. C Grade strictly to all players Rating below 999.
18. Backyard Singles event STRICKLY for players who have NEVER been registered with TTWA or another state associations or played in any previous competition. To enter must fill separate entry form.
19. Event 7-12, 14-17 & 4-6, Players entering over age group events & grade events, may only enter two adjacent groups.
20. Event 20 will be played one game only up to 31 point to win, each player will be given a handicap point based on RC point and the level of standard which decided by The Tournament Committee.
21. Event 21 (3 Players a team) Teams consist of three players each. Will be the best of three out of five matches. A contest consists of two singles, followed by one doubles, followed, if necessary, by one or two more singles until one team wins three matches. Seeding will be decided base on the team average rating (RC). Must be minimum of 7 teams or event will be cancelled.
22. Any new players who do not have rating, The level of standard will be decided by The Tournament Committee and shall be final.
